The II Convention of scientific effects, convened by the provincial presidency of the National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) in Guantanamo, will analyze from September 27 to 30, in Baracoa, the main scientific and technical results in terms of socioeconomic and environmental development of the country.
Yudirka Matos Sánchez, member of the Organizing Committee of Primada 2018, as the forum is called, anticipated the Cuban News Agency that the events on audit and control, population studies of Cuban society, sugar agro-industry, and the Workshop of Accounting and Cost will be simultaneously carried out.
There will also be important experiences on business management, local development and logistics and marketing, aspects that, together with the ANEC, are directed by the University of Guantánamo (UG).
The Regional Workshop of the ANEC, which accompanies the Convention, in this version has delegates from the province of Pinar del Río, creditor of that privilege for its progress in terms of sustainable local development.
The scientific appointment includes the presentation of the Sustainability Project of rural ecosystems with an integral approach to local development, which main executing entity is the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the UG, and brings together more than a dozen institutions.
The University of Camagüey, the delegation of Hydraulic Resources, the Council of the Provincial Administration and the municipalities of Baracoa, San Antonio del Sur, Imías, Yateras and Maisí, together with their respective university centers are also involved.
It is also co-sponsored by the delegations of the ministries of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) and Agriculture (Minagri), together with the ANEC, in the Cuban territory.
