To discuss issues close to their reality and action, more than 5 thousand four hundred students of the University of Medical Sciences (UCM), Guantanamo, from Monday until next Wednesday will participate in the ninth congress of the University Student Federation at the center, prior to the ninth edition of the event that will bring together delegates from all over the country.
Emilio Luis Delfino, president of the FEU in that institution with more than three decades of founded, said that the four working committees will analyze the impact of social projects, the use of new technologies, the fight against academic fraud and the knowledge of History as a tool for a better education of students.
Other approaches revolve around the fight against subversion from social networks, the need to achieve greater link in teaching practices in order to enrich the theoretical knowledge they receive in the classroom and the impact of the participation of students from other countries in activities convened by the student organization.
The participants will also analyze communicative strategy that is currently implemented by the UCM, in order to contribute to a better promotion of the general work and in particular of projects such as Medical Sciences in the street, which helps to identify the main sufferings of the population and promote health habits based on artistic, cultural and good habits.
The ninth congress of the FEU of the University of Medical Sciences, Guantanamo, which takes place on the 14th and 16th of this month was preceded by meetings in the grass-root committees of Brigades, Student Boarding House, Asociation and Faculty where topics were treated essential to contribute to the fulfillment of the objectives set by the organization in correspondence with the characteristics of the UCM.
