The improvement of the education system in the different education levels and the improvement of the teaching staff in order to strengthen the educational work are again topics for discussion during the preparatory meeting for the new school year, which begins in Guantanamo on May 24 until the 26th.
For three days, cadres, directors of provincial centers, methodologists and specialists will discuss in commissions other topics related to the methodological work, preventive and community work in order to avoid adolescent pregnancy, drug use and other problems that affect the students´ formation.
Aiming to evaluate specific aspects that guarantee a successful start of the 2018 – 2019 school year, the provincial directors in that space will also debate on the continuation of studies for the ninth grade and the students´ vocational guidance, based on the functioning of the special interest clubs and scientific societies.
The meeting, with venue at the 14 de Junio Special Education School, will bring together over 60 executives, methodologists and provincial specialists of all levels, who will also discuss crimes incidence and behaviors that affect the student sector, planning as essential element of the internal control system, in addition to the challenges for the new school stage.
