Acts of repudiation and special morning meetings take place in the educational centers of Guantanamo, as part of the initiatives of students and teachers in this province to denounce the resurgence of the blockade against Cuba, a hostile policy that limits the acquisition of school materials for the formation of more than 89 thousand 800 students.
In the 766 student groups, they also develop talks to reflect on the need to put an end to the unjust American measure that each year leaves almost three million dollars of losses to the Cuban educational sector.
They also plan to hold contests and talks with historians from the province until June, who will explain the various ways in which this network of laws harms the education system in the country.
The schoolchildren and teachers of the territory also raise their voices to demand the return to Cuba of the territory illegally occupied by the Naval Base in Guantanamo, a camp, where crimes and violations of human rights are committed today.
Amidst the condemnations of the unjust blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba, teachers and students of the different teaching levels in Guantanamo ratified the commitment to contribute to the development of the country from the classroom.
