The methodological work for teachers to teach new and quality classes returns to occupy the work agenda of the principals of the educational sector of Guantanamo, during the seminar to prepare for the new school year 2019-2020.
With the presence of the main leaders of the Cuban Communist Party and the government in the province, the preparatory meeting, which began on Monday and it extends until Wednesday May 22, offers spaces to also project the objectives of the next academic period, aimed at improving also the training of the teaching staff related to the weaknesses that persist in the subjects of Mathematics, Spanish, History of Cuba and other subjects.
In this meeting that also brings together the directors of provincial centers, methodologists and specialists will analyze in depth the preventive - compensatory work from the classrooms to avoid indiscipline, the incorrect use of the school uniform, the use of drugs, as well as pregnancy in the adolescence and desertion, among other fissures that limit the correct running of the 767 schools in the Guantanamo territory.
In the second day of work will be evaluated in committees the strengthening of political and ideological work in students and teachers, arts education and its impact from early childhood, as well as the recovery of games and traditional activities that contribute to training in the component aesthetic of the scholar.
Although Guantanamo is one of the provinces with the best coverage of teaching staff, in the preparatory meeting of the new school year, the principals will discuss the strategy to increase the incorporation of students to pedagogical careers in the profiles of primary, preschool, pre-university and professional technical education.
