Several proposals for the joy of students, teachers and workers of the sector take place this educational summer 2019 in Guantanamo, a period in which the premise is to combine knowledge with healthy recreation and maintain schools as the most important centers of the communities.
Among the activities of the summer stage they develop short courses on crafts, cooking, cutting and sewing, grafting, biodiversity, gastronomic skills, among other topics related to crafts.
With a duration of between 10 to 15 days in the months of July and August, in the vocational centers of the chief towns, they teach the basic knowledge of masonry, construction, carpentry, formwork, according to a report to CMKS Radio Station of Lizet Barnes Alat, the principal of the Technical and Professional Education.
In parallel, the Provincial Pioneers Palace “Ramón Infante García” sponsors courses related to artistic education, rescue of traditional games, while in the program of schools opened in the territory this summer includes excursions to historical sites, beach areas and rivers as the most attractive activities.
The rotations in the five pioneers camps of the province with the participation of some thousand outstanding students and the encouragement to another 500 with the visit to the national institutions of this type in Varadero, Cienfuegos, Granma, Holguín and Havana, are others of the options for the present summer stage.
Some 87 centers of the educational sector in Guantanamo remain open to the population this summer with a program that also includes options for educators and their families, among which also includes the trips, dinners and visits to the Stone Zoo.
