As part of the constructive movement that the educational sector deploys in Guantanamo during the summer stage, this Wednesday about 10 schools of primary, special and pre-university education will be reopened.
Of these schools, 9 belong to the Manuel Tames municipality, the venue of the central activities for the National Rebellion Day on July 24, Odalis Lores Gainza, principal of investments of the Provincial Directorate of Education reported to CMKS Radio Station.
The complete remodeling of the Camilo Cienfuegos and the Lino de la Mercedes Alvares schools of that Guantanamera town, are among the facilities finished, as part of the tribute to those who starred in the deed on July 26, 1953, to remove more than half a century of ignominy against the people.
The Martires 12 de Abril School, located in the Jamaica Town is another of the refurbished facility, an institution that improved the comfort of classrooms, computer labs, squares, sports areas, among other places that will benefit in about 500 students next September.
The more than 100 builders belonging to the Guantanamo educational sector brigade worked for several months in these schools in the substitution of wooden carpentry by aluminum and sanitary and hydraulic networks, waterproofing of roofs, paint, etc.
The constructive movement of the educational sector in the easternmost region of Cuba also advances with the delivery of remodeled facilities such as the Pioneer Explorer Camp "Daniel Llosas Preval" on the July 26th and other events, such as August 23, anniversary of the Cuban Women Federation.
