After a full maintanance and repair work, the Mártires 12 de Abril Elementary School, located in the town Jamaica, in the municipality Manuel Tames, looks brilliant to celebrate this Monday the provincial event for the start of the new 2019-2020 school year.
With an enrollment of more than 362 students planned for the school year, the educational institution stood out in the past school period for the good results in the teaching-learning process and the creativity of teachers.
They also excelled in the application of the Third Process of Improvement of Education, as well as in the linking of the conscious study of the José Martí's works in the different grades, which allowed the school to obtain the Zapaticos de Rosa Prize at the end of the last academic year.
The Mártires 12 de Abril Elementary School opens its doors, this Monday, with full teacher coverage, available materials, and teachers now have 15 classrooms, a new computer lab and areas for sports, among other spaces to favor the learning of children from preschool to sixth grade.
