The University Center (CUM) of Baracoa will host the Fifth International Training and Local Development Event, organized by the University of Guantánamo for November 13, 14 and 15.
The initiative seeks to socialize the results of research and university management that constitute proposals for local development in the social spheres; as well as promoting a space for knowledge exchange and the coordination of work projects between universities, institutions, companies, committed to sustainable development at local, regional and international levels.
Among the topics that will be addressed by the participants in the presentations, conferences and other activities are the Quality of Professional Training for Local Development, Challenges of Social and Humanistic Sciences for Development and Management for Sustainable Local Development.
The Fifth International Training and Local Development Event organized by the University of Guantánamo will show the work of researchers from Cuba and other nations of the world on the potential of the territory in terms of nature, culture, food production and projects in which the CUM participates according to local and sustainable development.
