More than 50 outstanding  teachers and assitiants n the province were acknowledged this weekend during the provincial act for the Teachers’ Day, held at 14 de Junio Special School in the city.

The assembly of more than 40 laboratories of Physical, Chemistry and Biology in schools of Guantanamo during two courses, promotes the learning process of junior high students as part of the actions developed to improve the quality of teaching.

More than 1,792,000 students come to school today to begin the 2015-2016 course in Cuba, where ensuring quality education and values formation is a priority. During school holidays, the Ministry of Education conducted the appropiate preparations, for which the State has provided about $17.5 million USD.

The Cuban Ministry of Education announced today the arrangements with a view to the 2015-2016 academic course, for which the State has provided about 17.5 million USD.

It was known that the encounter will be attended by municipal directors of such schools, researchers, leaders, teachers, students of higher education and other interested in the center to consolidate as ideological University.
