A new course of Cuban literacy program Yo Si Puedo (Yes I Can), was inaugurated today in the municipality of Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico and opens the doors of knowledge to the Mexicans that will learn with this method.

More than 50 educational experiences related to work in the rural sector will be presented at the Primary Education Scientific Forum to be held from March 29 to April 2 in the community Puriales de Caujerí, in the municipality of San Antonio del Sur.
President Rafael Correa said today his government has invested 20 billion USD in education since he took office in 2007. This total quadruples that of his predecessors, and in the light of this and of the advances made by the country through these years in this regard, he urged the people to observe and take into account the stand and values of the next candidates to the presidential post in this field.
