Cuban writer Eduardo Heras León, National Literature Prize 2014, exchanges with intellectuals and readers in Guantanamo, which attend the Festival of Book Union, which until Friday will let the locals know about the latest publication of this editorial house.

The meeting will take place at the provincial headquarters of the Association of Cuban Writers and Artists (UNEAC, in Spanish) that sponsors this biennial event, in which  the book “Dolce Vita”, the latest story of the prominent narrator, journalist and editor will be presented.

Wednesday "el Chino Heras", as he is known in the intellectual world, also participates with other writers in the promotion and reading of texts in other entities in the city, and Thursday will be part of a panel dedicated to the work of the Guantanamo writer Ana Luz García Calzada.

For Friday it is scheduled another theoretical exchange, but this time on Critics Awards 2015, and some activities will be extended to the University of Guantanamo to present the books of Olga Portuondo, Lucía Muñoz and Luis Carlos Suarez, the two latter participants in the current event.

The campus of Education in the University of Guantanamo hosts the presentation to students and professors the most recent issues of the journal La Gaceta de Cuba, UNEAC that contains articles written by Guantanamo intellectuals.
