Expectations for Olga Tañon´s concert today, the third day of the International Festival of Choirs and the performance of the Septeto Santiaguero are part of the daily life of the city, confirming its cultural tradition.
Only the lack of time forbids many people to participate in such a tight program and only remains the opportunity of choosing amid the musical options, all equally appealing.
The concert performed at an outdoor space on the Heredia street, outside Casa de la Trova, by Grammy Latino Award Winner Septeto Santiaguero, was a real gift for Santiago´s population.
The program of the 31st International Festival of Choirs offers until Sunday the performance of some 14 Cuban groups, as well as four from Australia, the United States, Sweden and Switzerland, in various sites of the city.
The stage at the open area in front of the Plaza de la Revolucion Antonio Maceo where Olga Tañon will perform tomorrow is already arranged, expected to be attended by thousands of people in the first of two concerts in Cuba, while the second is scheduled for Saturday 12 at the Tribuna Antiimperialista, in Havana.
