"Un Grito de Mujer" proposes an anthologic tour on Cuban artistic work in posters, made by 30 Cuban women, since 1969 up to now.
"Carteles" is a retrospective on 35 years of artisitic work of Colombian renowned designer Marta Granados.
Both exhibits are organized from the Visual Arts Development Center of Cuba (CDAV), one of the hosts for the Festival, besides other cultural institutions and centers, such as the Fine Arts Museum of Havana, the San Alejandro Fine Arts Academy and the Higher Industrial Design Institute of Havana, among others.
Presented between the CDAV and the National Council of Fine Arts (CNAP), this edition will host 14 exhibition projects until 29 April, as well as workshops, conferences, symposia.
There will be the one called Cartel-Mujer Symposium, planned on April 26 and 27 in the hemicycle of the National Museum of Fine Arts, a place to where relevant specialists and Cuban and world designers to discuss on creations and women's issues on posters.
Other displays are confirmed. such as "Jorge Martell: 50 Years Later", a review of his creations between Cuba and the United States; Palimpsest, a series of 100 posters made by designers Gilles Gavillet and Vincent Devaud; and others.
Organized for the first time in 2013, the Festival counts with the collaboration of the Uneac and the Prografica Cubana Committee, and is regionally endorsed by the Latin American Association of Design (Aladi).
