The version of the song "Cabalgando con Fidel” authored by the Cuban singer and songwriter Raúl Torres demonstrated the talent of the first, second and third year students and the teachers who guide their steps in the vast and fascinating world of music.
The applause of the audience recognized the talent of performers of "Swing del cubano", "Vals en Mi Menor", "El Mejunje", of a total of nine compositions that in perfect harmony showed the student´s talent, highlighting Seuniel Barcelay Domínguez, a composer.
He precisely described this moment as a dream come true and thanked his teachers the opportunity to show what they learned, in addition to commenting to Radio Guantanamo the contribution to their careers of spaces such as Viernes de la música, which takes place in the institution.
At the end of the concert paying tribute to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Jorge Núñez, president of the Cuban Association of Writers and Artists (UNEAC) in Guantanamo, organized an encounter with teachers, musicians, students and family members to guarantee the idea that the vigor of Cuban culture has important support in the quality of artistic education.
