The Interior Space of the Danza Fragmentada Company becomes the ideal setting to assess the composition of the works that will present this notorious Guantanamo group, from 11 through 15 April, in the twenty-third issue of the Dance in Urban Landscapes International Event: 2018Old Havana, City in Motion.
In the Improntus del Cuerpo space, which takes place every Thursday night at the group's headquarters, the young dancers and their director, Ladislao Navarro Tomasén, propose the new choreographies that will also be appreciated in the oldest streets of Cuba´s capital during the Callejero space, as the dancers' appointment is called.
"Fuga", "Transito", "Encuentro entre abanicos” and "Entropia" are the titles of Danza Fragmentada´s compositions that emerge as experimentation and creative exercise from the daily training, in addition to the experiences of the performers inspired in their reality.
Other novel creations will flourish from the Danza Fragmentada Company during the current year, as part of the program to celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary and the four decades of artistic life of its leader, Ladislao Navarro Tomasén, recently honored with the Provincial Award of the Artistic Teaching, Jewel of the Pedagogy and the Honorific Guamo Prize, given by the Cuban Association of Writers and artists, UNEAC, for the work the life.
