The office of the José Martí Cultural Association in Guantanamo, awarded La Colmenita dchildren´s Company with the "Dicha Grade" Prize, the highest recognition conferred by this institution in the province and which was received on behalf of that theater group, its leader and founder Carlos Alberto Cremata.
Noralis Palomo Díaz, president of that society in the province thanked the initiative of the renowned company to reprint the Martian route and travel the same places the Apostle traveled in the Guantanamo geography 123 years ago, after his disembark in Playita de Cajobabo.
The small members of La Colmena TV, along with their production team, enjoyed the staging of the play Historia de mi payaso, at the Guiñol Theater, in charge of the artistic “honeycomb” on this side of the country.
During the exchange Alberto Cremata Malberti reverenced the creative trail of the Guantanamo Colmenita and its director Xiomara Solís Gómez, for safeguarding in an extraordinary way with their the regional cultural authenticity, according to Tim's own words, as his little bees and bumblebees affectionately call him.
The visiting team also received the tribute from the Provincial Department of Culture for sharing the sweetness of their honey and love everywhere, always in defense of Cuban identity and autochthony as faithful followers of the legacy of the National Hero of Cuba.
