With the accompaniment of Agustín Adrian Pérez, Vice President of the National Council of Houses of Culture, along with other local political and governmental authorities, the membership of the Art Instructors Brigade in Guantanamo, evaluated the work of last year during its provincial balance assembly.
Among the fundamental issues of the participants of the meeting stood out the need to promote academic options for improvement, as well as a greater role of more than a thousand instructors in the province in educating the aesthetic taste and cultural consumption of the people.
The positioning of the task of the brigade in the communication platforms, in order to show the real dimension of their work in communities and schools, besides dignifying the role of the art instructor are other demands of the projections for the year in progress.
Strengthen the inter-institutional link with the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), the Cuban Writers and Artists Association (UNEAC); improving community work and promoting a better running of the MINED-MINCULT commission in the municipalities are other guidelines of the year's work agenda.
The event was also an emotional evocation to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, creator of the emblematic artistic-educational project, which is coming to its fifteenth anniversary this 2019, coupled with an extensive commemorative program at the country level.
