After the recognition of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC, in Spanish) and Union of Culture to the Guantanamo-Baracoa Theater Cruzade, for the twenty-ninth time its protagonists departure to the mountainous areas of the territory, where also the coming February 24 will support the new Magna Carta of the country to ratify its commitment to the Cuban Revolution.
Rafael Pérez Fernández, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and Emilio Matos Mosqueda, head of the Assembly of People's Power in the same instance, presided over the farewell of the theater workers, from other parts of the country and the world who dedicate this artistic journey to 166 birth anniversary of the Apostle José Martí and the 85 years of the Conjunto Lino Álvarez.
Membership of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade was also honored by the Provincial Council of Performing Arts, while María José Vizcaíno, the youngest actress of this Marti’s project gave the symbol of the Quixote of the Mountains to the political and governmental authorities of the territory.
Emilio Vizcaíno Ávila, director of the Guantánamo-Baracoa Theater Crusade, made a commitment to share spirituality, art, love and nobility in the more than two hundred mountain communities planned to visit during the twenty-ninth edition.
