From November 27 to 29, the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Writers and Artists Association (UNEAC), in Guantanamo, invites to the ninth Fall Concert Season this time with the guest ensemble Santa Cecilia String Quartet of Camagüey, directed by maestro Eduardo Campo.
The ninth season will celebrate the thirty years of artistic career of the Guantanamo pianist René Méndez at its main venue, the Antonia Luisa Cabal Concert Hall, where the duet made up by the local musicians Lisandra Rodríguez and Rubén Figueroa, will also play in the first night of the event.
The Professional School of Music Antonia Luisa Cabal will also host on the 27th and 28th of this month some of the activities of the traditional event, as the didactic concert by the teacher René Méndez, the methodological classes by the Quartet of Santa Cecilia strings, respectively.
The exchange between the members of the Mi-Sol Chamber Orchestra of Guantanamo and the guest instrumentalists, is another of the moments of the festival at Antonia Luisa Cabal Hall of this city, where the virtuous pianist Lisandra Porto will also appear on stage Thursday night, November 28, and the closing night will be performed by the Camagüey musicians at 8:30 pm on Friday.
