American most awarded vocal group in the history of their country, Take 6, will perform today for the first time in Cuba as part of the Festival Les Voix Humaines.

American most awarded vocal group in the history of their country, Take 6, will perform today for the first time in Cuba as part of the Festival Les Voix Humaines.

Take 6 has 10 Grammy Awards, 10 Dove Awards and Soul Train Award, among others, and the members decided to celebrate their 25th anniversary in Havana.

According to specialists, this is the a capella group par excellence and a model for vocal interpreters.

Take 6 members are Claude McKnight, Mark Kibble, Joel Kibble, Dave Thomas, Alvin Chea and Khristian Dentley, six voices that impact the public with their synchrony in a repertoire that combines gospel, jazz, rhythm and blues and pop.

The concert tonight at the Karl Marx Theater includes popular songs like Ben King's Stand by me; Claude McKnight's Spread love; and Pharrell Williams' Happy.
