Guantanamo was chosen to present on Friday in the building of the Group for the Development of the City, the exhibition Con la Patria en el Corazón (With the Homeland in the Heart), a posthumous tribute to five Cuban revolutionaries, on the twentieth anniversary of José Martí Cultural Society founding.

Carlos Manuel Medina Pérez, member of the National Board of this nongovernmental organization, said that the collection contains more than 70 photographs of Celia Sanchez, Vilma Espín Guillois, Jorge Felipe Agostini, Villasana, Juan Manuel Marquez Rodriguez and Faustino Perez in different stages of their lives.

The recognized authority on the life and work of the Apostle noted the pictures of these personalities remain during fifteen days in the referred center, located on José Martí, between Donato Mármol and Bernabé Varona and the same time at the Border Brigade Orden Antonio Maceo.

After opening this Friday in Guantanamo, the exposition Conla Patria en el Corazón, referring to personalities of the last independence phase of the Island, will return to the Jose Marti Memorial in Havana, after a month for local public view.
