From the October 27 the Cinema Festival Andantese is extended to various city places of the eastern province, before leaving for El Jamal, Nibujón and La Laguna, in Baracoa, the other venue of this unique audio-video event which is promoted by House of the Young Creator of Guantanamo.
“Of 15 materials received in the first year, now we have submitted over 50 during this third edition characterized by thematic and aesthetic diversity," according to Adriel Bosch Cascaret, head of the audiovisual section of the province.
During the opening night, the 10 minute-film “El Reclamo de las Aves” made by Cámara Chica Project composed of the children and youngsters associated with the Provincial Film Center in Guantanamo was screened among other film project works.
The attendees to the festival of films can enjoy of the official premiere of “Añoranza”, the video-clip of the pianist Lisandra Porto, directed by Guillermo Kerton, as well as the short films contained in Zona de Creation’s promotional package, by the journalist Roylan Pardo Cabrera, as a result of the Award El Reino de Este Mundo, given by the AHS.
Radio Station CMKS , the seat of Venceremos newspaper and Solvisión Television Channel in the province hosted the screening of several of these productions.
