With the aim to obtain a Guantanamo exquisite wine, the "Villa Guaso" winemakers club and the Municipal Culture Directorate called all producers in the province to participate in the Third Traditionally-Produced Wine Festival that will take place from 13 to 15 December in the Cuban easternmost city.

The 107th birthday anniversary of the bongo player Arturo Latamblet Veranes was remembered in the space “La Casa hacia afuera”, a community gathering promoted by  the Patio de Adela and Caverchelo.comb in coordination with the Casa del Changüí, of Guantanamo, an institution that treasures the stories of the promoters of the rhythm of the region declared the Cuban Intangible Heritage.

The Patio de Adela Project and Caverchelo.comb developed a program of activities in the neighborhood Loma del Chivo, which ended at the door way of the House of Son with the performance of the children of the representative group of the Guantanamo City’s multicultural neighborhood.

"Who does not like to read, cannot teach," it was the comment of the renowned Guantanamo writer, Mireya Piñeiro Ortigosa, at the end of his presentation in the space of literary criticism La Piedra en el Zapato (The Rock in the Shoe), a meeting that occasionally takes place in the Provincial Center of Houses of Culture.
