Premieres, theoretical workshops, photographic exhibitions and performance were presented during the 25th season of the Company Danza Fragmentada, which culminated this October 14 at the Guaso Theater in the Guantanamo City, as part of the activities for celebration of the Cuban Culture Day.
The Guantanamo delegation that will participate in the First Conference of the National Union of Cultural Workers exchanged with distinguished groups of that sector and performed an admirable initiative to children without family protection.
In Cuba every year from October 10 to 20, the Cuban Culture Day is celebrated. It begins with the Cry of Independence in the La Demajagua Farm by Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, concludes with the singing of National Anthem on October 20 at 10: 00 am in all provinces as Perucho Figueredo led hundreds years ago in Bayamo.
"I am impressed with the dance phenomenon in Guantanamo," Rubén Rodríguez, first Cuban dancer, teacher and choreographer, said after sharing this week with students and local professional dancers.
The experienced dancer Rubén Rodríguez, a star of dance in Cuba, performed in Guantanamo a unique program, as part of the season on the 25 years of the company Danza Fragmentada, an emblematic troupe of Guantanamo Province.
