The third season of the Chocolate con Café Festival will take place from October 10 to 13 in the Guantanamo Province, one of the territories that has contributed to Cuban culture.

With the start of the 2019-2020 school year, the Music School Antonia Luisa Cabal and the Dancing School Alfredo Velázquez Carcasés in the Guantanamo province welcomed more than 390 students in the different specialties, as reported by Diego Bosch Ferrer, deputy director of Artistic Education in the territory.

The young Guantanamo singer-songwriter Claudio Casal Muñoz won the 12th Grand Prix Lilí Martínez Interpretation and Composition Contest, also awarded in the categories of canción genre composition and interpretation,  for his song “Puedo ser,” dedicated in a special way to his little daughter.

The Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) carries out from this Monday in Guantanamo and until next September 11, an extensive process of exchange with the associates in the different provinces of the country, an opportunity to debate about the steps and challenges of the organization, after almost a year of the third congress, held on October 2018.

From this Thursday and Friday, the Huambo Cultural Center of the Guantanamo City  will host the days of the 12th Luis Martínez (Lilí) Musical Composition and Interpretation Contest, sponsored by the Provincial Center of Music, with ten finalist who will sing different music genre.
