The Uruguayan Theater Company Amares Social Clown arrived in the city of Guantanamo in the frame of the city's season named “Va Riendo el Guaso”, before leaving for the mountains of the region to also offer their art along with the Guantánamo- Baracoa Theater Crusade.
In coordination with the Hermanos Saíz Association, the Guantanamo painter George Pérez González prepares the exhibition "Pretexto 14" that will be inaugurated on Valentine's Day, at 8 o'clock pm at the Portico Gallery of the House of the Young Creator.
Before the imminent reopening of the career of art instructors in the territory, young musicians, visual arts and theater artists of Guantanamo expressed their commitment to assume the challenges in educational and cultural institutions. It transcended in the Provincial Council of the José Martí Brigade in Guantanamo, where on behalf of the nearly 2000 members of the movement, some 30 art instructors reflected on the priorities during the current school year and their role as future teachers of the new source in all specialties.
From a bolero to a changüí, this time alive in the most sublime melodies of the Guantanamo´s Male Choir, distinguished the second day of the Eighth issue of the event Voices Encounter, also honored by the Vocal Ángelus Group with its young but peculiar performing style.
