The Guiñol Guantanamo group was the only Cuban theater group selected to partake in the first 2019 FITA CHILE Ibero-American Fair for children´s Performing Arts, to take place in Santiago de Chile from November 3 to 5, young actor Yosmel López Ortiz published on his Facebook profile.
Uggling, magic, balancing, acrobat acts, dance with hula hoop and the performance of the clown duet Carisea entertained the Guantanamo spectators from August 21 to 25, during the CIRCUBA tour through this eastern province, where the iconic troupe presented its Summer show at the Guaso Theater, the Rafael Castiello Multipurpose Hall and the municipalities Caimanera, Manuel Tames and Niceto Pérez, promoted by the National Council of Performing Arts.
With an evening commemorating the 104th anniversary of the birth of the prominent pianist Luis (Lilí) Martínez Griñán the second issue of “Zasonando” cultural event began in Guantanamo, sponsored by La Fama Project, the Union of workers of the cultural sector in the province and CMKS Radio Station.
The Provincial Council of Performing Arts in Guantanamo invites from August 21 to 25 to enjoy the summer galas of the Cuban National Circus, which during those days will offer shows at the Rafael Castiello Multipurpose Hall and the Guaso Theater, also with the presence of Latin American artists.
On August 15, the popular singer Laritza Bacallao will perform in concert at the Pedro Agustín Pérez Polifunctional Square in the city of Guantánamo, as part of a national tour that the young artist is carrying out this summer trough the eastern provinces.
