There are still some hours to go before the start here of a concert by The Rolling Stones, one of the most legendary rock bands ever, and since this morning, numerous people have been prowling around, looking for "the best places" from the other side of the fence at Ciudad Deportiva. Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones announced on their website that Cubans may choose on-line the songs they will play during their show tomorrow.

Cuban classical dance shone in the V South African International Ballet Competition, through performances by the dancer Ariel Martínez, who who is a rising star of ballet. Martínez gained gold and silver medals whilst facing very rigorous competition in which several countries around the world were represented, including Russia, Switzerland, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Uruguay, Paraguay and South Korea, showing once again the high technical and artistic level of the Cuban school of ballet.

The documentary Bola de Nieve: El Hombre Triste que Cantaba Alegre (2003) will be screened today at the Toulouse Latin American Film Festival. The film, by director Jose Sanchez-Montes, seeks to bring people closer to the great Cuban musician Ignacio Villa, known as Bola de Nieve, by showing different aspects of his personality.
