Up to now, Gonzalez and Armenteros are the only medalists of the Cuban team in its Asian tour, since they won silver medals in Quindao and Jeju, respectively.

The Asian tour will close with the Grand Slam Tokyo, one of the tournaments that give points for the world ranking and has 22 places among men and 14 among females in the face of the South American summer event 2016.
