Suarez also revealed that a group of technicians and executives of several franchises of the NPB will travel to this capital to witness the play offs of the 55th Edition of the national series games, classic of baseball in Cuba.
According to the Cuban basebell executive, the Japanese want to see the majority of the most talented players on the island, "regardless of age, or whether they are pitchers or position players", although on their agendas "are written with capital letters" the names of some of the youngest players.
"They have shown interest in José Adolis, and also in Yenier Cano, Liván Moinelo and Guillermo Avilés, among others," he said.
Both José Adolis, as Cano and Moinelo, and the outfielder and first baseman Avilés, participated with the reigning champion of Cuba, Ciego de Avila, in the 2016 Santo Domingo Caribbean Series.
"The interest in our baseball reaches out to Australia," Suarez said before adding that "organizations of Canada and Mexico also want to recruit Cuban players", but negotiations have not even come to a happy end.
