Jamaican male sprinter and Olympic and World Champion Usain Bolt has expressed his desire to get concentrated in tarining for the 100 flat meters during his 2017 competing season, the last in his successful sports career.
During the annual gala of the International Athletics Association of Federations (IAAF) Usain Bolt commented that 'the 200 flat meters require a harder work during my training, and now I am at the end of my career.'
Bolt, now 30 years old, has many times confessed that the 200 flat meters has always been his favorite distance to run, so he dreamed that he could go under the 19 seconds flat, though he is the record man in the distance, with 19.19 seconds.
Talking about the record of the 200 flat meters, Bolt stated that he is 'no longer looking for the record.'
'Now, I just want to win my race. But other things can possibly happen,' he said.
Usain Bolt is also the recordman of the 100 meters , with his record of 9.58 seconds.

In Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) in 2016, Bolt conquered these distances by athird consecutive time in Olympic Games, to get to nine Olympic titles, after he achieved the victory in the edition of Beijing-2008 and the British, of London-2012.
