Prominent Guantanamo personalities of science and culture will participate in lectures and in the three forums that also involve speakers from Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and university campuses of Holguin, Matanzas, Pinar del Rio and Ciego de Avila, among others.
The special conference that deals with Guantanamo University education: challenges and prospects will be given by the Ph.D. Alberto Turro Breff, the Rector of the University of Guantanamo, and Guantanamo Land between Rivers. Its local Development by Ph.D. Nancy Acosta Hernandez, president of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power (Parliament).
According to the program announced in the scientific exchange, four pre-event courses are included that respectively tackle transformations of Higher Education in Guantanamo context, economic management for local development, role of universities in local development and food sovereignty, Physical Education and Local Development, in charge of respective Doctors of Science in the field from the University of Guantanamo.
