Arlen Lopez Cardona, of 22, who lives in the Sur district of the provincial capital of Guantánamo, had the honor of becoming a gold medalist at the World Boxing Championships in Doha, Qatar.
The young boxer of 75 kg got the ticket to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2016, also holds the titles as champion of the Central American and Caribbean Games and Pan American Games.
