Researchers and professors from universities of several countries participate this Wednesday in the Third International Scientific Seminar on Training and Local Development, which meets in the eastern Cuban province of Guantanamo.
In the conclave at the University of Guantanamo, participants exchange about the contribution and role of higher education in the development of communities in the Third World, as well as economic management, sustainable agriculture, food sovereignty and the prevention of hazards, vulnerabilities and risks, among other topics.
According to the program of the event, the lecture on Local Development Training as an expression of public policy is presented for first time by the Colombian specialist Daniel Barragan .
Among the countries represented at The International Seminar are Angola, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.
