The Local Development Group (LDG) in Guantanamo City is working on the dissemination and implementation of the Ordinances of the provincial capital, by the advent of the 145 anniversary of the city, when it received the title of villa.
The Local Development Group (LDG) in Guantanamo City is working on the dissemination and implementation of the Ordinances of the provincial capital, by the advent of the 145 anniversary of the city, when it received the title of villa.
For professionals who work in this center, it is a priority to take an active part to achieve a greater understanding of urban regulations and its effective application, in order to eradicate misguided practice in house construction resulting of social indiscipline, environmental aggression and other violations.
To socialize the city ordinances among residents, the specialists of the LDG uses various ways such as the publication of books and brochures, talks in institutions, workplaces, as well as other activities aimed at children and adolescents.
Zulma Suarez Ojeda, director of LDG, states that the city ordinances meet all decrees and circulars that refer to the image and functionality of the cities from the standpoint of citizen behavior, architecture, landscaping, roads and image in general.
