The call is to act calmly and put into practice the civil defense guidelines to address these situations, state bodies and organizations agreed in a meeting attended by managers, specialists and executives of sectors like health, education, FMC, CDR, media, Radio Cuba, ETECSA and other organizations.
The provincial director of Education Alis Azahares explained details of the preparation received by teachers and boards of directors to act and protect the students in coordination with the family, with emphasis on internal centers and kindergartens in the territory.
Measures to maintain the vitality of communications in an earthquake of great intensity, the role of amateur radio, existing material reserves and preparing the forces that must be involved in the rescue and rescue were also checked during the meeting.
It was also known the guarantee of medical assistance to Guantanamo residents in hospitals and clinics as well as the assurance medicines, medical supplies, disposable materials and the cooperation with other provinces.
