The Escaramujo Awards and the prize for the best community initiative gained by “El amor toca a tu puerta” sociocultural project, gave the municipality of Yateras the venue the Central Event for the celebration of the Day of the Art Instructor.
The Escaramujo Awards and the prize for the best community initiative gained by “El amor toca a tu puerta” sociocultural project, gave the municipality of Yateras the venue the Central Event for the celebration of the Day of the Art Instructor.
During the meeting it was recognized the work done by these young people in the promotion of different art forms, those who support them from the cultural institutions as well as the best instructors in the province, Dairenis Fernandez Legra and Isael Peña, both from Yateras.
Initiatives with a sustained work in the promotion and rescue of the identity values in the municipality were also recognized such as Campanita de Bernardo, the Elpidio Patterson Crafts Workshop as well as the Rogelio Lescay changüi Club.
During the central event for the Art Instructor´s Day celebrated in the municipality of Yateras Barbara Simonó Brook, head of the ideological department of the Provincial Committee of the Young Communist League (UJC), congratulated the Jose Mart Brigade in the territory and urged them to continue their work to transform the lives of Guantanamo residents through culture
