According to Beltarn, for the current year, they foresee to build about 47 plants, mainly in private farms whose owners have done the agreement and they are working to introduce new technologies such as nylon bags through projects to reduce costs and streamline the task.
Coupled with the promotion of the use of biodigesters to process the growing swine wastes resulting from increased production, the Swine Company also restores the oxidation ponds and practices environmental safety measures.
The Biogas can be used for cooking, refrigeration and lighting, in addition to producing organic fertilizer to improve soil fertility.
