This entity received about seven lorryloads in addition to the fourteen existing to ensure the transportation of the productions contracted in hard-to reach-areas of the province.
It is planned the creation of collection points of suburban agriculture and similar establishments are rebuilt in the mountains, many of which are in poor construction condition.
Onoris Revé Jarrosay, commercial director of the ACOPIO Provincial Enterprise, explained that this entity is responsible for the balance of all agricultural productions of the territory and their distribution as planned.
He said that with the recovery of its role as a wholesale buyer, ACOPIO should ensure the lines that replace imports such as corn for pig production, tomatoes aimed at industry, and the supply to fruits collection enterprise, social consumption and state agricultural markets.
He explained that the financial position of the ACOPIO Provincial Enterprise currently is favorable and the mechanisms created by the Bank allow to timely meet payment obligations to producers.
