This group with qualified personnel of the public health will work from Friday during for 45 days in the Guantanamo municipalities of Manuel Tamez and Caimanera, territories with the highest rates of infection in the whole province.
Dr. Javier Perez Azahares, provincial director of Health, said that in order to get this important task effective, environmental sanitation in all blocks with risks as well as the adulticide treatment in every home and workplace are necessary.
Dr. Perez also emphasized the need to prevent the zika entry in the territory for more than 20 nations in the Americas and the Caribbean register since last year cases of the virus and a larger number of countries report dengue and chikungunya, caused by the mosquito aedes aegypti.
