In the 604 constituencies operating in the territory at least two women were nominated, which shows their leadership in society by their merits and personal qualities.
That was said by Alberto Reyes Ortiz, secretary of the Provincial Electoral Commission, adding that the voters list will be simultaneously published, a process to be extended until April 8.
He said that from April the first to the tenth the training of members of the electoral commissions and colleges overlooking the vote on April nineteenth will take place.
In that sense the Provincial Electoral Commission in Guantanamo along with the supporting structures are ready for the upcoming April 12 dynamic exercise, which involves the checking of all pre-voting mechanisms.
From March 31 until April 10, when elections will be carried out to elect delegates to the municipal assemblies of the People's Power, pictures and biographies of the candidates will be published after culmination of the nomination process, as embodied in the Electoral Act.
