Next Thursday, March 24, the Huambo Movie Theater in Guantanamo, will be the scenario for the gala welcoming the 57th anniversary of the Cuban Film Institute, ICAIC.
Next Thursday, March 24, the Huambo Movie Theater in Guantanamo, will be the scenario for the gala welcoming the 57th anniversary of the Cuban Film Institute, ICAIC.
Two important groups in the territory will be part of the show: Danza Fragmentada Company and the Guitar Orchestra, directed by the known figures Ladislao Navarro and Brian Hui respectivelly.
The event will close with the screening of the Cuban films El país que ya no existe, by the filmmaker Isabel Santos, dedicated to Iván Nápoles, winner of the 2016 National Film Award and also photographer of the shaking films made by Santiago Álvarez in Vietnam.
To close the celebration in Guantanamo for the ICAIC´s 57 anniversary the public will enjoy the cartoon Xip Zérep contra los vampiros lácteos, directed by the outstanding Juan Padrón.
