It is not necessary to be a member of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) to feel its influence in society where I live and prestige the highest political organization of the island has.
It is not necessary to be a member of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) to feel its influence in society where I live and prestige the highest political organization of the island has.
That force of love, unity and shelter, reigned in the first session of the 7th Congress of PCC, where Raul Castro, his first secretary, the same Army General respected and loved, the child-man of the Second Eastern Front Frank País, the loyal brother of Fidel, outlined in the report to the plenary the basis for the way forward from now on, despite the image of uncertainty sold by the anti-Cuban media plans.
The head of state praised what it was analyzed as good and criticized shortcomings without trembling his hands or his voice. It was just up to the firmness and hopes of Cubans, with words of transparent content regarding issues of national interest and clarifications towards economic and social policy for the sustainable development of the nation.
It was enough time to Raul, as people just called him, to look at the rest of Latin America, the Caribbean and the world, in which he reiterated solidarity with Puerto Rico, continued cooperation with Haiti and the inalienable principle that, for the progress of relations between Cuba and the United States, the imperialist blockade against this noble people must stop and the withdrawal of the existing illegal US military base in Guantanamo since 1903, a few meters from the town of Caimanera.
Congress delegates are people from cooperatives, coffee plantations, sugar cane fields, the people themselves and that convinces the most skeptical of enemies.
What I like the most about the only ruling party and in the state where I was born and will always live, is that it goes straight to the point "the work ahead and love inside." Such human foundation, makes it immortal, necessary and mine.
