Isbel Guilarte, secretary general of the Cuban Workers´ Federation (CTC) in the Eastern province, said that the workers´ festivity would contribute to boost efficiency in the sugar cane harvest and other predictive items in the territory.
The recognition to outstanding leaders, retirees and entities is one of the main activities to be carried out by workers and unions during these days, whose starting point was in El Bazart, a non-state entity contributing with over 22 thousand pesos (national currency) in only six month.
The Secretary General of the Cuban Workers Federation, Isbel Guilarte Reyes also said that encounters with veterans, CTC founders and the rallies for May Day celebrations in communities as well as the decoration working centers are included.
