Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, General Secretary of the Cuban Workers’ Federation (CTC, in Spanish) reported to press that the celebration becomes a massive support of people to Revolution and sends to the world a message of unity and commitment to the Cuban Communist Party and its historic leadership.
According to Cuban Agency of News, the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of PCC stressed that it will be a time to call for the cease of the blockade imposed to the island by United States and to demand the return of the territory illegally occupied in Guantanamo. And it won’t miss the solidarity with nations that fight for their freedom.
During an exchange recently with young workers from various sectors in the Cuban capital, Julio Gómez Casanova, member of the National Bureau of the Young Communist League, said that “los pinos nuevos” (new generation), as José Martí called them, have now to keep and fight relentlessly to change the reality for a better country without forgetting that we are constantly attacked.
