Rebeca Bonnis Neyra, a research and specialist in LABIOFAM, explains that veterinary drugs, medicines aimed at human health, food and cleaning products, as well as bio-products for agriculture and cosmetics are also distributed in the network of commercial stores.
It emphasizes that they have in the municipality of El Salvador an installation for the porcine production and another poultry where more than 181 thousand eggs were obtained during the past year.
In addition, LABIOFAM manages a bioproducts plant, located in the Sur neighborhood of Guantanamo, and a scorpion nursery in Paraguay community for the extraction of the toxin from the scorpion Rophalurus Junceus, aimed at the development of anti-tumor drugs such as Vidatox.
Also, in this community, the group manages a dependency for the production of biodiesel, from the non-edible oleaginous jatropha curcas whose oil is also used in the manufacture of soap.
