"If we look now," the Brazilian pacifist emphasized, “President Trump attacked Syria with false arguments, proceeding outside international law, outside the law and I think there is only one way to save concord: the promotion of an education of unity among peoples. "
According to Socorro Gomes the event in the east of the island is emblematic, because it strengthens the conviction of this necessary unity, helps to raise awareness about the dismantling of nuclear and chemical weapons, military camps and North American fleets and to know worldwide that hegemonic politics is a threat.
In the Cuban Friendship Institute’s headquarters, the visitor praised the example of humanism in Cuba, which instead of sharing bombs and death around the world, provides health, education and love.
During the exchange, activists from the labor movement of Puerto Rico and the committee of friends Switzerland / France, trade union leaders of the territory and innovators of the city, participated, who showed how they solve problems caused by the sustained economic, financial and commercial blockade of the U.S. administrations for more than half a century.
The Cuban Association of Innovators (ANIR) created by Che 40 years ago and promoted by Fidel, is composed in the province of about 12 thousand members and is attended by the Cuban Worker’s Federation (CTC, in Spanish).
