Isbel Guilarte, secretary of the Cuban Workers' Federation addressed the workers gathered at the Mariana Grajales Square, where she recalls important historical moments of the province such as the landings of Jose Marti and Maximo Gomez by Cajobabo Beach and Antonio Maceo by Duaba Beach.
Likewise, she demanded the cease of the US blockade against Cuba and supports the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its President Nicolas Maduro against the imperial threats.
