We have embraced this work with enthusiasm, because we have experience in its performance and we know what it means for the improvement of passenger transportation in the mountains, said Ricardo Lago Espada, metal worker and brigade leader at the Bus Reconstruction unit
Espada Lago said the trucks will have capacity for more than 30 passengers, 19 of them seated, and assured that to complete the vehicles in the shortest possible time the team extends the workdays to more than eight hours.
Esmildo Jiménez Castillo, director of the Business Basic Unit Support to the Transport, subordinated to the provincial company of that sector, stated that as the buses are being assembled, they will join the parking of the different municipalities.
The allocation to the province in recent times of trucks for turning into buses, along with the delivery of buses Diana and other means of transport, has contributed to a significant improvement in passenger transport, both city and countryside.
